Dr Gareth Evans graduated from the University of London in 2012 and went on to complete his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2017. He began higher specialist training in Infectious Diseases in 2019 before transitioning to General Practice in 2021. He was awarded his specialist GP qualification in the UK (MRCGP) in 2024 and has most recently been working as a GP in Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr Evans has a special interest in sexual health and infections. He holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public Health (Germany, 2016) and a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health (2022). He also maintains a strong interest in general medicine and comprehensive patient care.
Outside of work, Dr Evans enjoys hiking, running, and spending quality time with friends and family.
