Dr Sian Virtue-Griffiths is a psychologist with a Doctor of Clinical Neuropsychology who is passionate about helping people understand how their brain functions and how this influences thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She has a strong interest in neurodiversity and enjoys working with individuals whose thinking, learning, and processing styles differ from the neurotypical profile, valuing each person’s unique strengths.
Sian takes a strengths-based, evidence-based approach to care. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindful approaches to support practical and meaningful change.
She works collaboratively with clients who are motivated to build skills, increase self-understanding, and move forward in their lives. Her therapy focuses on developing coping strategies and practical tools that support wellbeing across work, study, relationships, and adjustment to major life changes.
Sian also has a strong interest in neuropsychological assessment. These structured assessments explore how a person’s brain processes information and identify areas of cognitive strength and difficulty. They may assist in identifying developmental differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders, as well as assessing cognitive changes following stroke, brain injury, tumour, motor vehicle accident, or neurological conditions.
Sian aims to make both therapy and assessment a supportive and empowering experience, helping clients gain insight, clarity, and practical direction with confidence.
